Kathryn spent fifteen years in the nonprofit world and three years as a Financial Advisor before joining the Brookhill team. Most recently, she served five years as President and CEO of the Waukesha County Community Foundation. Prior to that she spent seven years specializing in planned and major gifts for Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundation and three years with both Waddell & Reed Financial Services and Bethesda Lutheran Homes.
Kathryn serves on the Board of Directors for Wisconsin Philanthropy Network and chairs their membership committee. She also serves on the Elmbrook Education Foundation Executive Committee, Thriving Waukesha Alliance Task Force, President's Council for Carroll University and Advisory Council for La Casa de Esperanza.
Kathryn holds a B.A. degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Sara spent fifteen years in the high school classroom prior to coming to Brookhill. Eleven of those years were spent at a charter school in Milwaukee and the most recent two years at Brown Deer High School as a classroom teacher, department leader, and interventionist. She has worked with in-service teachers through the entirety of the WSMI program and through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Sara earned her National Board Teaching Certification in 2012. She holds a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently enrolled in a masters program for Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Mathematics Education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Paige has over nineteen years of experience in mathematics, special education, higher education, and coaching. Paige spent ten years in the classroom as both a regular and special education teacher with Milwaukee Public Schools. She was a Teacher-in-Residence for the Milwaukee Mathematics Partnership Grant at Milwaukee Area Technical College and co-taught methods courses at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Paige worked for six years as the Elementary Mathematics Specialist/Coach for the School District of South Milwaukee. In addition, Paige serves on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Mathematics Council. Paige holds a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction in Elementary and Middle School Mathematics Education as well as an B.S. in Exceptional Education Cognitive Disabilities from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Eric spent thirteen years as a classroom teacher at the elementary level and three years as a Math/Instructional Coach in the Greenfield School District. He also worked as a summer school principal for two years. Eric holds a B.S. in Elementary/Middle Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a M.S. in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University.
Alyssa has been with the Institute since its inception. Prior to the Institute, she was an Administrative Assistant with The Brookhill Foundation. Alyssa holds a B.A. in Studio Arts with a minor in business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as well as a certificate of Social Media Management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education.
Sherry brings over 35 years of work experience in administrative support to the Brookhill team. She spent ten years with RTE, which became Cooper Power Systems, six years with Stillwaters Cancer Support Services and eleven years working at Waukesha Memorial Hospital in clinical research and the cancer center.
